Filming Process

The following pictures are the pictures which we took when we where filming some parts of our music video. Some pictures show some of the preparations we had made. The first picture is basically an image showing the first set up we had to do. We had to set up the camera and make sure that all the camera angles where nicely put.

This is an image showing some of the the parts that we filmed, the screen basically shows a close up, long shot, and medium short. At first we didn't know how to use this but after we where shown the basics we where able to handle it.

Here is an image of one of our main female dancer during the filming in the green screen room as you can see behind her its not screen yet but the back ground is green when you watch it on the camera, and later on when we edit we will change the background to something more appealing to our audience

Last but not least this is an image of the whole group handling the cameras, one is handling to close up camera, one the medium shot, and last but not least one handling the full shot camera.

Introduction to Digipaks

Now that our music video production is finished, we will now move on to create a digipaks that will accompany the music video. We have to find ways to link the music video and the pack together. We had to do some research on digipaks inorder for us to know what we where doing and what is meant to be included etc. So basically Digipaks are book-style paperboard or card with one or more plastic trays that hold a single or multiple CD or DVD attached to the inside. CD Digipaks packaging is regularly used for CD singles or even special editions of CD albums. Digipaks are a really great way of promoting Cds/DVDs and also have a great way of protecting the CD.

First thing that we are going to do is to research into Digipaks, inorder for us to do this successfully we have to look at existing Digipaks looking at the different features as a whole and individually. Which therefore will inspire us and help us to create our own.

This is an imagine layout showing the basic structure of how the digipaks looks like. This is a basic structure. Which gives us an idea on how the outside/inside/back/front pages of our digipaks are meant to look like.

Videos from rehearsals

These are basically two video we took when our two female dancers where rehearsing the dance, we did rehearsals because we wanted our video to look really professional meaning that we wanted no mistakes to be made, so therefore in order for us to achieve this we had to pretend as if we where real video makers/directors.

So Far

So far we are making progress with the editing and everything else. The editing is going well so far considering how we where before. We are behind with the editing but are aiming to at least complete the editing by tomorrows deadline. This will be achieved by the members of the group staying after college to complete this.

Progress so far

So far we have been filming, we’ve filmed some parts in the green screen due to some changes that we had to make. At the moment we have 2parts to film, we have to film the girls doing a dance piece with the main girl, and need to film the main girl with the main boy. We are unable to film today due to some technical difficulties we are having but these will be sorted as soon as possible, so in the meantime we are going to be editing the things we have filmed and some members of the group are going to be looking at the blog.

Plans for today

Today we have been editing some of the things in our blog, and one group member is re-doing the storyboard because our storyboard got mis-placed somehow. Later on today we are going to be filming some of the footage in the green screen

Problems we are facing at the moment

At the moment we are behind with our filming for the music video because of the different times we have for filming the people in our music video. So therefore we had to make some few changes in order for us to keep up with our work. Before we had one of our friends to be the main girl but then because of our different schedules we had to chose one of our group members to be the main girl. We have given our self 2weeks to complete the filming, while other group members are editing some are going to be doing the poster and cd covers because different members in our group have different skills which is an advantage to us.
